I know my team reached out after this morning’s meeting with a brutally honest message about where we’re at ahead of tomorrow’s end-of-month fundraising deadline. But come this afternoon, they were still nervous about our numbers, so I promised I’d reach out before the day was over. 

So, folks, I know we ask for your help a lot. Trust me, I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t have to — asking for money is my least favorite part of the job.
