Happy New Year!
For many of us, the election of 2022 was a profound disappointment. In the spirit of living in the World as it is and not as we wish it to be, let us continue to press on and work to make our country, states, and cities the best they can be.
I am continuing to speak and promote common-sense policies, a return to American energy dominance, and the importance of countering our greatest adversaries Russia and China.
Last week America First Policy Institute (AFPI) held its first-ever Twitter space on energy and we were joined by some of the smartest leading advocates on sound energy policy.
I have recently written two op-eds on energy policy. One, on the government's overreach in attempting to ban gas stoves ([link removed]) in the United States, and the other, on the impact of wealthy western countries, including the U.S., attempts to prevent African nations ([link removed]) from prospering and industrializing by withholding the benefits of fossil fuel usage.
Next month, I will be speaking in Panama about "Why emerging economies should choose the U.S. over the CCP as their trading partner of choice.".
As we enter the New Year, I am thinking a lot about Freedom of Speech and how essential it is to preserve our constitutional rights and our "republic if you can keep it" as Ben Franklin famously said upon exiting the Constitutional Convention of 1787.

In 2021, the radical Left was riding high and Washington elites were confident that the America First movement was finished. They could not be more wrong.
