This week we are living HER-story!
Virginia became the 38th and final state needed to certify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the Constitution of the United States.

We reflect on this journey, which defined the activism of a generation of women. Today we celebrate the dawn of a feminist future where equality will be seen in women’s pay, job opportunities, education, health care (including reproductive health care), and education.
We made it clear, equality WILL apply to our daughters as well as our sons. I am proud to stand with you today to celebrate this historic victory for equality for ALL women!
NOW members have been at the forefront of the drive for constitutional equality and given the current political climate we know there are still hurdles ahead. But we will not be deterred. We will stand strong. We will see constitutional equality in 2020!
