I’m excited to share with you some of the foremost plans Wildlands Network has in the works for this year. Check out our top five below!
For the wild,
We’re providing hard data and science-based insights to decisionmakers in the U.S. and Mexico, casting light on pathways that will lead to sustainable, long-term conservation solutions.
We’ve been selected to receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to study how utility-scale solar energy systems could affect pronghorn and other wildlife in the Four Corners region.
We will continue to convene diverse stakeholders to foster strategic partnerships in order to meet wildlife goalswithin communities andcontinent-wide.
We’re developing a map of priority projects across California, suggesting improvements to highways that will make an immediate difference for the state’s wildlife.
We’re partnering with local communities in Chihuahua to better prepare for the upcoming dry season so that their forests, and the endangered parrots that inhabit them, are protected.
