The time has come for us to take a stand and make our voices heard. The City Council will be continuing its vote on the appointment of the District 3 City Councilmember at a special meeting on Tuesday, January 31st at 5:00 pm, and we need your support.
This is a crucial moment for our community and it is imperative that residents come out and show their support. Our goal is to have at least 100 people at the meeting, sending a clear message to the council that we will not be ignored.
The Democrats on the council and their allies expected a smooth appointment process, but our community’s participation has upset their plans. This is the last meeting before the February 3rd deadline for appointment, and we need to make it our strongest showing yet.
The agenda for the meeting is focused solely on the District 3 appointment, with the item 4.1 titled: “District 3 City Councilmember Vacancy: Possible Action to Make an Appointment to Fill the Vacancy For the Remaining Term and Administer the Oath of Office to the Newly Appointed Councilmember (Continued from January 24, 2023 City Council Meeting).”
We encourage you to bring your family and friends to the meeting and help us send a powerful message to the City Council that the Republican community will not be silenced. Your presence will make a difference, so please make every effort to attend.
