This event focuses on those who make Arlington County a wonderful place to live and visit by recognizing front-line workers in the hospitality industry from restaurants and hotel companies.

At the ceremony, the Chamber will present the Hospitality Superstar Awards to employees who have been nominated based on their superior dedication and customer service. The Bob Klein Legendary Service Awards are also given to those who have completed 25 or more years of service.

Legislative Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia began its Legislative Session on January 11. Over 45 days the General Assembly will in session. The Chamber has been actively advocating for bills related to our policy priorities. We have been engaging in favor of legislation concerning workforce development, taxation, regulations, and other issues affecting the business community. Below are some of the bills that we are currently supporting:

HB1405 & SB796, simplifying the filing methods for corporations paying their corporate income taxes.
SB2195 & SB1470, creating a consolidated Department of Workforce Development to administer all Commonwealth-level Workforce Development programs.
