John,
Hi there! My name is Rachael, and I’m an organizer at Lead Locally. I’ve dedicated my career to building a future where everyone can live a happy and healthy life, free of environmental racism.
I am a Black woman, and I deeply believe in a future where everyone has clean water and air, access to green spaces, reliable and sustainable infrastructure, and politicians that work with the communities they represent. This future is attainable. But systematic oppression of Black, Brown, and Indigenous people of color has made it a lot harder than it needs to be.
That’s why I believe strongly in the mission of Lead Locally — to recruit and elect folks that will follow through on their campaign promises to fight for the climate. If you’re ready to join me in this fight, sign on below to support Lead Locally.

This work can be hard, but I’ve found that electing people on the local level means that they know the issues a community faces and are not afraid to collaboratively build solutions to those issues. They have breathed the air, drank the water, and become fed up with the system just as much as their neighbor. This kind of motivation fuels change way more than corporate money ever could. That’s why at Lead Locally passion for climate justice comes first for all of our candidates, and we give them the resources they need to win.
I’m asking you, John, to support Lead Locally today. Every supporter we get to sign on to our mission ensures that people fighting for climate justice are in office rather than those who put their profits at others' expense. Will you join our movement to fight for the climate today?
