Dear Friend,

January 31st is right around the corner, and we need your help to hit our End-of-Month grassroots fundraising goal of $15,000. Anything you can provide will go a long way toward supporting our mission to advance racial and economic justice for all of our nation’s residents.

There are countless barriers to economic access and equity that prevent marginalized communities from getting ahead in America. Every day, we’re fighting in the courts and on the ground to dismantle those barriers.

We do this critical work because we believe that everyone in this country deserves not just to survive, but to thrive.

We believe that everyone has a fundamental right to healthcare, housing, food, economic opportunity, and equal justice under the law. That's why NCLEJ fights every day to dismantle institutional barriers to opportunity, and level the playing field for marginalized communities. Quote from Dennis Parker, Executive Director, NCLEJ

Through groundbreaking litigation, policy advocacy, and support for grassroots organizing, we’re expanding access to critical benefits like food stamps, Medicaid, and unemployment insurance. We’re protecting the rights and safety of low-wage workers. We’re advancing the rights of people with disabilities. And we’re working to end unlawful debt collection.

The work we do helps create real, long-term progress for marginalized communities across America. It also requires serious commitment and funding, which is why we are asking for your support today. We urge you to chip in whatever you can spare to help us hit our $15,000 end-of-month fundraising goal by our January 31st, 11:59 PM deadline.
