John, Team Delia here, and it's urgent.
Our End of Month Fundraising Deadline is TOMORROW, and we haven't reached our goal.
This isn't just any goal – this is our first End of Month Fundraising Deadline of 2023 , and it's crucial that we start off the new year with a strong show of public support. We want to tell you more, but we really need your help. Will you help us reach our goal before it's too late? [[link removed]]
REACH OUR GOAL [[link removed]]
John, in a little less than a month, Republicans have shown that they have no interest in actually helping their constituents.
1️⃣ We saw the 15 rounds of voting it took to elect a speaker, and we still don't know all the promises McCarthy made to secure the votes he needed.
2️⃣ We saw Republicans take a simple vote on raising the debt ceiling – like Congress has almost always done without issue – and turn it into an opportunity to further their own agendas.
3️⃣ We saw Republicans propose a 30% sales tax, and call it "simpler" and "fairer" when all it does is line the pockets of the super wealthy.
On the other hand, Delia and her colleagues have been trying their hardest to sort through the nonsense and actually help their constituents.
But doing that is a lot easier said than done. If Delia and her colleagues have a chance at fighting off the far-right and bringing our constituents the resources they need, we're going to need a strong coalition of grassroots support. With our End of Month Deadline so close, this is the perfect opportunity for you to help us get ahead. Please, John, can we count on your support? [[link removed]]
