It seems odd to talk about fundraising goals right now, doesn’t it, Team?

We get it. Just this week, Governor Whitmer delivered her State of the State address after we secured a blue trifecta in Michigan. For the first time in decades, Michigan Democrats are leading our state forward.

Here’s the thing. If we spend even just one moment thinking our work is done, we lose the opportunity to build on our momentum to take Michigan from a battleground state to a state where Democrats continue to win, lead, and deliver. We can make sure Michigan Democrats continue to win year after year, but we need to keep up our work first.

The Michigan Democratic Party is always working to register new Democrats, educate voters, recruit volunteers, and train the next wave of Michigan Democrats who are ready to step up to run for office. This work takes resources, which is why I’m reaching out to you today.
