Candius Stearns, President
Candius Stearns is serving as Michigan Eagle Forum’s president. An experienced entrepreneur, Candius realizes small business owners are the backbone of our communities and need simple, cost-effective tools, to run their business without red-tape and complicated government compliance programs.
She is passionate about serving the community by fixing issues such as parental rights in education, healthcare, and fostering training of more skilled trade workers.
Candius has decades of experience starting and running small businesses. She received her license as a Health and Life agent from the State of Michigan in 1997. In 1999, Candius Stearns founded her own benefit agency DFBenefits designed to support and help small business in the Detroit Tri-County Area. In 2007, Candius Stearns founded DFB TPA Services LLC, a sister company to DFBenefits. Almost a decade later, she started a travel business Stay Balanced Travel, and combined her group compliance business with Ascend Group in 2022. Candius consults with business owners and their employees for services including travel, insurance, and HR compliance.
She’s held positions as an Executive Committee member for the Metro Detroit Association of Health Underwriters (MDAHU), National Board of Trustees for HUPAC, Macomb County GOP, and communication secretary of the Republican Party of Macomb County in Michigan.
The most important aspect of Candius’ life is her partner and husband, Christopher Stearns along with their two children, Samuel (19) and David (16). She has a passion for several charities, which include ICare of Michigan, Compassion International, Gallant Few, and Mission 22.
Daniela Davis, Vice President
Daniela Davis is serving as Michigan Eagle Forum’s vice president. An advocate of conservative values and an avid supporter of conservative political candidates, small business owners, and service personnel, Daniela was raised by an immigrant and union labor leader, and at a young age she realized the importance of fairness, freedom, and opportunity for all.
Daniela is a third-term elected precinct delegate, a second-term Oakland County Executive Committee member, a Bloomfield Republican Women’s Club marketing chair, and most recently, the Oakland County liaison for the newly redistricted 12th Congressional District, which spans two counties.
Honored to have been asked to represent her party and district, Daniela ran as the 2020 Michigan State Representative for the 35th House seat. She served during that time as elected Vice Chair for the 9th Congressional District. Although she did not win in that general election, Daniela was able to further learn the intricacies and nuances of a challenging campaign. She went on to assist in four heated statewide and regional campaigns in 2022.
Politics is only one facet of Daniela’s interests. Parental involvement is an important tenet to her children’s public school education, and Daniela has maintained a consistent presence in the local schools, serving in several volunteer capacities and offering her conservative and moral views.
Her volunteerism since 1981 has been guided by her unswerving faith in God. Daniela has been deeply involved in her church, serving in praise and worship, discipleship, and directorship. In her opinion, there is no greater or fulfilling work than serving God, which she incorporates in every volunteer position — including those outside the church — that she has the honor to occupy.
Daniela is the founder and president of a marketing communications company, Little Scooter Communications. Her expertise is in automotive, financial, and most recently, the metaverse. Daniela is greatly proud of her sons Daniel (19) and Grayson (17). The boys will be each attending Michigan’s largest college rivals next year.
