 Friends – Last week, House Democrats passed a bill to require and strengthen hygiene and safety standards at migrant detention facilities. To no one’s surprise, Will Hurd voted against it. After denying mistreatment of migrant children at the Clint facility – and as children have died in our care – Hurd has once again shown his true colors by voting against requiring children receive an initial health screening, and be provided a minimum amount of drinking water and physical space. We must condemn Hurd’s vote immediately. Add your name right away to stand with migrants at the border → We know this is unacceptable, friends. Will Hurd has pledged to vote for Trump in 2020. It’s no surprise that Hurd again refuses to take responsibility for the atrocities happening at the border – in the district he represents.
