Friend, the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) movement is a dangerous attempt to undermine our market and force a woke agenda on all of us.
We knew we needed to do something, so in 2022, Heritage Action took the lead by launching this ad to warn Americans and Republican legislators across the country about the dangers of it.
Since then, we’re proud to say that we have been successful in our fight. In 2022, our activists worked to pass state legislation to defund the ESG agenda. And we saw 7 states (Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, South Carolina, and Utah) divest over $3 BILLION from pro-ESG investment firms.
In 2023, we are working to introduce this legislation in even more states. We will organize and support passing these bills into law. We’ll protect taxpayer dollars and keep them from going into the hands of pro-ESG investment firms.

Our work is already underway, and numerous states have signaled their intention to combat ESG:
- Florida is taking steps to protect taxpayer dollars from funding ESG policies
- Indiana is considering restricting ESG for the Indiana Public Retirement System
- Texas has proposed a bill to restrict ESG criteria on companies.
But we pass these bills in even more states! We want to take our fight against ESG to the next level in 2023.
