Good morning,

Here is the Texas Minute for Monday, January 30, 2023.

– Brandon Waltens

Some of the biggest battles in the Left's war on Texas children have been taking place on a common battlefield: our schools.

For decades, American parents assumed that they didn’t have to worry about what books their kids were reading, or if their teachers would intentionally expose their children to pornography.

But after school districts across the country forced thousands of children into online classes, parents had direct access to the books and worksheets teachers had assigned, and they quickly noticed disturbing trends.

This is the topic of the Episode 3 of Exposed Season 4: The War on Texas Kids [[link removed]]. This latest episode takes a look at the disturbing and shocking material parents have been finding in their children's schools: from pornography in school libraries, to radical gender ideology indoctrination in the classroom.

In this season, Sara Gonzales – a crusading journalist and mother of two – explores the issues and asks if there a way to stop the sexualization of children before it's too late.

Previous episodes have examined the origins of radical ender ideology and how culture drivers have begun to target children.

New episodes are released on Mondays. You can listen at Texas Scorecard [[link removed]] or wherever you listen to podcasts, including Spotify [[link removed]], Apple Podcasts [[link removed]], and Google Podcasts [[link removed]]. πŸ”’ Donate to Texas Scorecard πŸ”’ [[link removed]] Today in History

On January 30, 1798, the first brawl in the U.S. House of Representatives took place. Congressmen Matthew Lyon and Roger Griswold fought on the House floor.

Quote-Unquote

"Our leaders must remember that education doesn't begin with some isolated bureaucrat in Washington. It doesn't even begin with state or local officials. Education begins in the home, where it is a parental right and responsibility."

– Ronald Reagan
