I’m running for the U.S. Senate because “better than the way things were” isn’t good enough.

• It’s not “good enough” that huge corporations are making record profits while families can’t afford necessities.
• It’s not “good enough” that my kids had to ask me if they were safe at school after nearby shootings.
• It’s not “good enough” that extremist politicians could ban abortion nationwide if they win just a few more Senate seats.

It’s not good enough that corporate special interests play an outsized role in our politics, and I’m running for the Senate to hold them accountable and create a better California and better country for all of us.
