Hi folks, it’s Michael’s daughter, Halina.

22 years ago today, I came into the world and became the third official member (after my mom and older sister) of Team Bennet! Let me tell you a little bit about life as the "accidental Senator's" daughter:

Since we were little, my sisters and I knew our dad was special. After all, we've shared him with the people of Colorado all our lives. He’s always fighting as hard as he can for what matters to our generation — like protecting the environment, defending reproductive rights, and making college and healthcare more affordable.

But Dad’s work never stops him from being present in our lives. He has always been there for us: cooking breakfast; sending us the best book recommendations; helping us with our homework; and always answering our calls, even when it’s late.

I’m so grateful to have a dad working to make the world better for me and my generation. He loves Colorado more than anyone I know, and he’s taking care of our state just like he’s looked after me for 22 years.

My dad’s team just told us we’re only two days away from our first fundraising deadline of the 2024 election cycle — and knowing you chipped in to help hit our goal would be a pretty cool birthday gift.
