Earlier this month Attorney General Patrick Morrisey delivered an update to the people of West Virginia. In his video he shares his big wins of the year, discusses his next steps, and reminds us all to keep the faith. 

AG Morrisey on the War Room

Last week, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey was on Steve Bannon's War Room to discuss the current senate representation in West Virginia, and how all West Virginian officials should be moving in the same direction to promote the America First Agenda. He added that this is how you take down the swamp and win. 

A Big Win in Women’s Sports

Earlier this month, Attorney General Morrisey went on Newsmax to discuss the “big win” it was that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of WV ruled that the state legislature’s definition of “girl” and “woman” in the Save Women’s Sports Bill is “constitutionally permissible.”

$83 million settlement against Walgreens

Last week, the Attorney General’s office secured another $83 million settlement against Walgreens in the opioid litigation.  

This is just another example of how West Virginia is leading the way on the fight to hold our pharmaceutical suppliers accountable. 

“We think we have a very strong case, and I’m hopeful they are going to appreciate that we are going to pursue justice in the State of West Virginia—this is going to be no quick out,” Morrisey said.
