Maddy here, Finance Director for the Montana Democratic Party. I know it can seem a little abstract when we talk about the goals that we’re setting each month because you don’t always know exactly what that money goes to.

But I’m here to tell you that the $10,000 we hope to raise by the end of this month will go toward funding ads and events that will help us inform Montana voters about the craziness that is going on in the state legislature under an extreme GOP supermajority.

This is our first finance goal of the year, and it’s important that we start off on the right foot. So will you please donate $10 or $20 to our party today to help us start the year off strong?

Planning is everything for us at MDP, and if we start falling behind on our fundraising goals, that will mean that our planning needs to be cut back. If we don’t raise the money we need, we will have to run fewer ads, host fewer events, and essentially reach fewer voters with our message.

And our message is going to be important over the next two years as Republicans try to roll back reproductive rights, lower taxes for the wealthy, and redistribute costs to working families.

If we’re going to hold them accountable, we’re going to need your help. Can you rush a donation of any amount to the Montana Democratic Party to help us get it done?
