It’s Olivia, Ayanna’s Finance Director. I know it’s Sunday afternoon, so I’ll get right to the point here.
January has been a slower than expected month for us in terms of fundraising. Take a look at this month’s total compared to January 2021, the last post-election year:

As you can see, we’re currently facing a shortfall of nearly $26,000 compared to 2021. But Ayanna hasn’t slowed down one bit in Congress — she’s still advocating and legislating for policies like abortion access, a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and criminal injustice reform — so we need the resources to support her work.
