john,

Republicans want to use the debt ceiling as a bargaining chip. They want to hold our entire economy hostage and risk financial collapse so they can force us to cut Medicare and Social Security — all part of a broader plan to slash federal spending and balance the budget on the backs of hardworking Americans.

Tina knows these programs are essential to the well-being of millions of Americans, and she’s not afraid to stand up to the Republicans and their dangerous plans.

She fundamentally believes that after a lifetime of work, Social Security should be available for you once you retire.

And she opposes any efforts to cut Medicare benefits. Minnesotans and people across the country rely on their health coverage, and she firmly believes that any attempt to take that away is unacceptable.

john, Tina is fighting tirelessly in the Senate to protect the benefits that you deserve, which is why we’ve got to show up for her. Please consider making a grassroots contribution ahead of our end-of-month fundraising deadline to support Tina in her fight.

The GOP is working overtime in this early-stage of the cycle, and your contribution would be a critical early investment that will help us fight back against the attacks and build the strongest campaign infrastructure possible.

Thank you for everything you do.
