We’ve emailed you quite a bit this month John, and it’s because January has been busy, with Team CREW hard at work fighting for an ethical, accountable and open government.
But you’ve been busy, too, John! Over 12,000 supporters signed our petition demanding George Santos resign from Congress, 4,200 of you co-signed our letter to the USPS Board of Governors urging them to remove Louis DeJoy from his role as Postmaster General, and 5,000 supporters signed our petition to demand elected officials who participated in the insurrection be investigated and potentially disqualified from office.
We’re proud to have a team of grassroots supporters taking action to hold elected leaders accountable, and to make our government more ethical and transparent.
I want to share one more number with you: 590 folks have donated to CREW to help us keep up our busy work – from filing a complaint with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration to investigate why Donald Trump wasn’t audited promptly to demanding transparency for where George Santo’s campaign finances really came from to make sure he didn’t break campaign finance laws.
We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us in 2023 to keep up these fights and more. We’re hoping we can hit 1,000 donors before the end of the month to support CREW’s work.
Can you make your first ever donation to CREW today to help us hit our goal and continue to hold elected leaders accountable?
We have tough battles that lie ahead in January and beyond, but we’re confident in our efforts to root out corruption and bring accountability to Washington. We know we can do it, because we’ve done it before.
But we’re able to do all our legal, policy, and research work only with the support of grassroots donors who pitch in time and time again.
If you believe in this work, we would love to have your support today. Anything you can contribute will be put to use holding politicians accountable and fighting for a transparent, ethical government →
Thanks,
