In just two short weeks, the Puerto Rican people overthrew their corrupt, anti-woman and anti-LGBTQ governor, Ricardo Rosselló. Half a million people protested in the streets. Before Rosselló had fallen, our partner in Haiti PAPDA posted this video to their Facebook page, expressing solidarity with the uprising. They are in the same fight in Haiti, against both corruption and American intervention.

Our Honduran partners, including Miriam Miranda of the Black Fraternal Organization of Honduras (OFRANEH), participated in a congress of resistance of Black and Indigenous women. The following statement is a product of the discussions there, among grassroots feminists organizing against the dictatorship and deeper oppressions.
