John,
One week ago we should have been celebrating 50 years of reproductive freedom.
Instead, last Sunday marked the first anniversary of Roe v. Wade since the far-right Supreme Court majority overturned precedent and gutted our constitutional right to abortion access and bodily autonomy.
And now, even though a third of American women lack safe and accessible reproductive health care, Republicans in Congress are pushing for even more restrictions — including banning abortion nationwide.
I won’t let them push us further backward. People, not politicians, should be able to make their own health care decisions.
That’s why my Democratic colleagues and I are united behind legislation that protects contraception, strengthens abortion care, and ensures women across the country are able to access essential reproductive health care.
If you’re with us, please consider chipping in before our end-of-month deadline. Your support shows everyone — including Republicans — what this team is capable of and fuels the work I’m doing to make progress on crucial issues like this one.

They want us to accept defeat and give up. But we’ve faced tougher challenges before and won, and I know this time will be no different so long as we keep pushing forward together.
Thank you,
Lauren
