Hi John,

Last year was one of the most challenging and rewarding years of my life. I’m proud to have fought for affordable health care, quality education for Texas children, common sense reforms for gun violence, and rooting out government corruption -- and I’m looking forward to continuing these efforts in 2020 and beyond.

This year, I’ve made it my resolution to carry this work even farther.

But I’ll tell you something that has me a little nervous, John: The GOP primary in this race is starting to be filled with challengers who are reporting big fundraising numbers.

These opponents have deep pockets and strong ties to the DC machines that are desperate to take back this seat after our huge win in 2018. Together we derailed DC special interests’ hold on this seat and now it’s our mission to keep it that way.

I’m up to this task, John. If you’re with me -- I hope you’ll consider giving a donation to help us stay at full steam as we move closer to the Texas Primary. Whoever our opponent turns out to be -- we’ve got to be ready to take them on.
