As we approach the end of January, Eric is settling into his role representing Illinois’ 17th District in Congress. And as promised during the campaign, he’s been advocating for reproductive freedom and working across the aisle to seek common sense solutions to climate change and other issues affecting constituents’ daily lives.
While Eric works to deliver results for the people of IL-17, it’s up to us -- his campaign team and loyal grassroots supporters -- to build momentum for his re-election campaign. The best way to do this is to meet each one of our monthly fundraising goals throughout 2023.
There’s no doubt that the race to represent IL-17 will once again be a toss-up next year. Big-money donors from the far right saw how close the election was in November, and they’ll be laser-focused on unseating Eric the next time around.
That’s why building momentum early in the race can really make a difference. It’s a show of strength that sends a clear message: it won’t be easy to defeat Eric now that he’s the incumbent.
