Celebrating National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Law Enforcement Appreciation Day should be recognized every day in our
communities. We are thankful for the sacrifices made by those who answer the
call to serve in this noble profession. Political leaders in Albany have
enacted dangerous laws under the guise of reform that put our communities and
those who serve at risk.

 

Sadly, towns and cities within New York’s 22nd Congressional District have
been ranked among the most dangerous in New York in terms of recent crime rate
statistics. Politicians in Albany and Washington must act now to repeal and
amend those laws to protect our citizens and law enforcement officials, not put
them at greater risk.
