HUGE NEWS, John!

In case you missed it, we just hosted THE U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, on our latest podcast episode!!!

Secretary Buttigieg – also lovingly known as "Mayor Pete" during the 2020 primaries – gave us an amazing insider view into what it’s like to head a major department of the U.S. government under President Biden’s leadership. It sure ain't easy, and now we can really appreciate the major wins he’s secured since taking the position:

🏗️ Reinstating local hiring initiatives for public works projects.

🛣️ Launching the $1 billion Reconnecting Communities program to reconnect communities targeted by racist redlining policies.

📢 Promoting crucial legislation, like the American Jobs Plan and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

👪 Advocating for paid parental leave nationwide.

… and so much more!

This list scratches the surface of the many improvements made under his leadership – but we think Secretary Buttigieg has made serious steps toward bringing American infrastructure back, better than ever.

But with the clock ticking ahead of the 2024 election cycle, and the GOP House majority dead-set on blocking any and all progress, Secretary Buttigieg and President Biden are going to be facing an uphill battle to get the job done over the next two years. 

That's why we want to hear what our unapologetically pro-democracy activists think about the work Secretary Pete has done since taking office two years ago. So please, John, let us know:
