SWORN IN FOR A THIRD TERM IN CONGRESS:
Earlier this month, Jared was officially sworn in for his third term in Congress. Thanks to the continued support of folks like you, Jared is able to continue fighting for Mainers in Washington.

SUPPORTING THE STRATEGIC PETROLEUM RESERVE:
Jared voted to pass the bipartisan Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act, which would prohibit the sale of oil from America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to any entity owned by China. This vote builds on Jared’s previous work, such as his successful efforts to pressure the Biden Administration into using the SPR to lower gas and heating oil prices for Americans.

SECURING FUNDING FOR MANUFACTURING TRAINING:
At the beginning of January, Jared announced that he had secured $7,000,000 in federal funding for the University of Maine Advanced Manufacturing Center. This funding will be used to establish three Manufacturing Training Innovation Centers in Orono, Brunswick, and South Portland, and will help grow Maine’s manufacturing workforce.
