Yesterday, House Republicans passed a bill that would undermine the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) and put our national security at risk in a foolhardy effort to try and open up more federal lands for oil and gas drilling.

They don’t want Biden to use our reserves to help the American people, like he did after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. They want to make his hands tied and force their “drill baby drill” agenda by any means necessary.
