[ stdin# ]Women's March
John —
While they wait for the chance to push through a national abortion ban,
far-right radicals across the country are doing everything in their power
to restrict abortion access at the state and local levels.
Who does that harm most? Low-income communities and communities of color.
When local governments ban abortion in their cities and towns, even if
it’s legal in the state, abortion care becomes effectively inaccessible
for folks who can’t afford to travel, take time off work, or find child
care.
We need to take the fight to protect reproductive freedom to the real
battlegrounds: city councils, state legislatures, and state supreme
courts.
As one of our top supporters, we’re letting you in on our strategic plan
for the next few months: Women’s March is focusing our attention on where
it can make the greatest impact, like on the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme
Court election.
