Team — it’s been clear from the moment Trump took office that Republicans in Congress believed he was above the law. It didn’t matter to them that he was mixing his businesses with the presidency (at a profit) from the beginning. It didn’t matter to them that he welcomed Russian interference in our elections and tried to obstruct the Mueller investigation. And it didn’t matter to them that he asked a foreign actor to investigate a political rival. Our House majority has acted to hold Trump accountable — it’s time for Mitch McConnell and his majority to do the same.
