"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Please join our IJM Kenya team in praying for the upcoming sentencing in the Mavoko 3 case. This is the 2016 case in which an IJM lawyer, his client and their driver were abducted and murdered as they pursued a case of police abuse of power. Four people were convicted for their murder in July of last year, including three police officers. The sentencing is scheduled for February 3. Pray for just sentencing and a sense of closure and peace for the friends and family members of the deceased.
Latin America
Please pray for our team in El Salvador who continues to work with different stakeholders to build safer communities for women and children. Pray that as we implement strategies that improve prosecution and trauma-informed strategies for victim care we will continue to encounter public officials who are willing to learn and change.
South Asia
Please pray for several bonded labor cases that have recently ended in acquittals. These legal trials can take years to reach a judgment, making it even more disappointing when suspects are released. Pray for IJM teams as they re-strategize on these important cases to understand why judges decided to acquit, and pray for any legal follow-up to ensure perpetrators are held accountable under the law.
Asia Pacific
Please pray for our Forced Labor Slavery teams as they continue to receive a stream of referrals regarding scamming cases in Myanmar, the Philippines and Cambodia. Pray for wisdom for our teams and partners as they find ways to rescue victims and locate perpetrators who are often difficult to track down.
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Please join us in praying for donors and partners embarking on trips to the field! As these individuals experience the work of IJM first-hand, pray that God works in their hearts and minds to understand the mission of IJM and see more clearly the stories of survivors and partners.
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
