We are living in a climate crisis, John.

Not even one month into the new year, the world is witnessing extreme weather catastrophes like the devastating wildfires tearing across Australia – killing more than 1 BILLION animals. We’re also monitoring a disastrous string of earthquakes in Puerto Rico.

What makes this all the more frustrating is that the people of Puerto Rico – who many forget are U.S. citizens – are struggling to pick up the pieces and recover from these destructive earthquakes as the country continues to shake and is STILL waiting for federal aid that was never received after Hurricane Maria in 2017.

That’s right: millions of people are going without electricity, access to medical care, clean water, and food because President Trump has refused to release federal emergency aid to the island – and scientists believe even more damaging seismic activity is yet to come.

This president’s racist animosity towards the people of Puerto Rico – people he is sworn to represent – is costing lives. Plus, he and his party’s denial of climate change and dismantling of environmental protections will only result in more extreme weather events and catastrophes like this in the days, months, and years ahead.

We need leaders in office who will take quick, decisive action on climate change and help vulnerable communities affected in its wake.

If you’re ready to kick out Trump and elect a president who will treat Puerto Ricans with the dignity they deserve, pitch in $10 or more now to help us register Latinx voters and get out the vote in November!

PITCH IN NOW

There’s no time to waste.
