It was great to catch up with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), which serves 191 cities and 19 million residents across Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, LA, Imperial and Ventura counties.

Looking forward to working together to support our Southern California communities.

Thank you to the United Indian American Communities of Southern California for inviting me to celebrate India’s 74th Republic Day at Tandoor Cuisine of India in Orange.

I am grateful for our Indian American communities and will continue to support a strong US-India partnership.

Productive visit to Silverado Canyon with Supervisor Don Wagner to see what OC Public Works has been doing in the area and meet with local leaders and community organizers to learn more about the unique dangers facing our beautiful Canyon communities.

Team Young enjoyed learning about local issues impacting Orange at the Orange Chamber’s January Eggs and Issues event.

It was great to hear from newly elected Mayor Dan Slater on his priorities for Orange moving forward!

Too many of my constituents, especially in the canyon communities, have seen and felt firsthand how wildfires can take lives, ravage neighborhoods, destroy livelihoods and cause irreparable damage to communities.

We need all hands on deck during a wildfire, which is why I’m proud to introduce the FIRE Act with California Reps. Representative Mike Garcia, Congresswoman Julia Brownley and Judy Chu. This bipartisan bill would help develop and expand technologies to improve wildfire detection capabilities.

Phelps United is a leading eCommerce accelerator, helping businesses and brands navigate through and grow with multiple sales channels.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day we remember the six million Holocaust victims, stand in solidarity with our Jewish community 78 years since the liberation of Auschwitz and commit to sharing the stories of victims so this history is never repeated.

We will never forget.
