We realize that’s disappointing because we were all hoping for an instant fix. It can be tempting for some folks to start shifting blame or pointing fingers, but it’s more productive if we’re brave enough for real talk.

In short, it’s time for the rubber to meet the road. Level-setting for future elections is happening now, and while others are still talking about candidates and issue politics without connecting them to voters of color, NNCP is taking a more effective approach.

The solution is right under our noses. By investing in citizens’ quality of life, we can earn their participation in elections for years to come.
