Dear LULAC Familia,

I just finished interviewing for a story with the Washington Post about changing
how the government mentions Latinos in their forms. This is how we are counted
and federal funds are spent.

For the first time, we can have a way to check Hispanic or Latino. Also, we can
add more details. See the sample form below.

As a LULAC member, you can have a big say in what happens next because we are
being asked to send in our comments before they make a decision. Please take a
