When it comes to addressing the climate crisis, we can’t afford to pick and choose which challenges to tackle. The only way to meet our urgent climate goals is with a comprehensive, multifaceted, and swift approach.
As part of that approach, we must reform the outdated permitting requirements standing in the way of necessary energy infrastructure improvements. That’s why I’m working with my colleagues in Congress to reform those regulatory processes and help accelerate our transition to a clean energy economy, create good-paying green jobs, and support local economies.
We set ambitious goals with the Inflation Reduction Act, and now we must follow up with meaningful action. I need to know where you stand: Do you think that clean energy should be a top priority for Congress?
A sustainable future is on the line. I hope you’ll stand with me in this fight.
