Washington, D.C. – As a new member of the House Ways and Means Committee, I was selected to serve on the Subcommittees on Tax and Oversight. We just launched a new tool to allow IRS whistleblowers to communicate confidentially about misconduct at the agency. This tool is just one of the many ways we plan to conduct oversight of the IRS.
On Monday, I toured Lighthouse for the Blind in Fort Worth, which gives no charge prescription glasses made by visually impaired employees to children and adults–including veterans--who are in need. Check out their new Braille friendly mural!
