Your vision of defiant hope
It’s clear that the threat to our world is very real. And those who are seeing the biggest impact are often people who are already vulnerable. It’s just not fair. But what unites us, is our collective vision for the way our world ought to be – our certainty that a green, fair and healthy world is within reach.
This year let’s make a better world possible. Together we’ll be focussing our energy into these key areas:
- Spearheading a global campaign to stop fossil fuel extraction and make polluting fossil fuel companies pay for the damage they cause.
- Championing big climate solutions from home insulation to offshore wind, so the UK becomes a model for climate action globally.
- Demanding governments protect 30% of our oceans by 2030, safeguarding wildlife, coastal communities and our climate.
- Saving forests from destruction, to protect wildlife, fight the climate crisis and stand with Indigenous Peoples.
- Winning a strong, global treaty that limits single-use plastic production for good.

John, what's your vision of a green, fair and peaceful world?
Our biggest act of resistance this year will be to stand together full of passion and determined hope, united in our vision of the world we want to live in. Everything you do makes a positive difference - whether you’ve signed a petition, donated, shared a social media post, or scaled an oil rig.
If you’ve already watched, can you think of two people who you think would be inspired by this video - would you mind sharing with them?
A simple share could help us to inspire and empower more people to join the movement. Together we can demand change like never before. And if you’re not on social media, forward this email to your friends, colleagues and family.

Add your vision to our wall of change
John, what does your vision look like? What do you see? Maybe it's a peaceful world safe and secure for all the people living in it? Or thriving ecosystems, or healthy oceans?
Whatever it might be, we want to hear from supporters like you, and we're asking you to join 23,000 others and add your vision to our wall.

Power protection for our natural world
There's a lot of talk this time of year about how far your willpower will go. But what if your will had the power to go further than you ever imagined? Like to the depths of the ocean seafloor or the corners of ancient rainforest.

With a gift in your Will to Greenpeace, you can power the protection of our natural world for generations to come. Your Will can ensure our research, campaigns and lobbying continue to deliver real change for our planet - long into the future.

Strength in numbers:
John, signing petitions is a great way to take action and make a difference. Please add your name and support to our latest petitions because nothing changes without you.
Protect the right to protest: [link removed]
The government tried to strip away our right to protest, but their plans were shelved because thousands of people and the House of Lords stood up to them and won.
Since then, they've tried to override the will of the people by introducing a new bill that would force through things like ASBOs and crack down on people planning to lock-on - something which is critical to direct action and protest. They also want to widen the net of stop and search, harming overpoliced communities and people of colour. They failed to get these plans through once, and it’s down to us to stop them again.

Protect and restore England’s nature: [link removed]
Nature in England is in crisis. We have the most depleted biodiversity in Europe and the government is threatening to remove one of the most fundamental protections we have to safeguard nature and wildlife. [2] Tell the government not to scrap the protections provided by the Habitats Regulations, and to make sure at least 30% of England's land and sea is fully or highly protected by 2030.

Tackle soaring energy bills: [link removed]
Millions of households across the UK are being pushed into fuel poverty by soaring energy bills. Tell the UK Government that every community, from the northern tip of Scotland, to the Midlands to the South West deserves to be Warm this Winter.
