John,
It's a new year, and a new Congress has officially been sworn in. That means it's time to get to work.
I've been spending the last few weeks traveling across Delaware, meeting with key allies in Washington, and determining my first legislative priorities for 2023.
Fixing our broken health care system is right at the top of my list. I can't count the number of times that folks have written to my office, shared stories at town halls, and raised their voices demanding better, more affordable care. Costs are unacceptably high, and Americans – especially our seniors – are paying the price.
So as we head into 2023, I'm working overtime to make health care more affordable and rally support in Washington so that we can fix this problem. I'm fighting to drive down drug prices, end surprise billing, and increase access to quality care – even at home. I've been fighting for these changes for years now. And after Democrats' historic wins at the ballot box last fall, I believe we finally have the political momentum to make it a reality.
Winning over my Republicans colleagues is going to be a hard task. But it shouldn't be: Everyone deserves quality health care – regardless of where they live, who they work for, how old they are, or what medical conditions they have. That's the America I'm fighting for. And you have my word that I won't stop fighting until it's the America that your family can call home.
But I need you in this with me, John. Historic, transformative legislation like the Affordable Care Act is only won with consistent, strong grassroots support from folks like you. That's why I'm asking: If you have anything extra to spare tonight – even just $5 helps – will you make a donation to defend our Senate majority and win leadership that will fix our broken health care system?

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Gratefully yours,
Tom
