Marjorie Taylor Greene needs NO introduction: She’s a QAnon conspiracy theorist, insurrection defender, and one of the most extreme Republicans in the House. 

But in order to gain the House Speakership, Kevin McCarthy has brought her from the fringe to the front of the House – allowing her to advise him on policy, be given key committee seats, and set the legislative agenda for the 118th Congress.

The back-door deals and political alliances Kevin McCarthy is making with far-right extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene aren’t just shameful, they’re dangerous. During her first term in Congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene was censured for violent tweets about assassinating her political opponents, condemned by party leaders for attending a white supremacist conference, and stripped of her committee assignments. 

Now, in a desperate attempt to rise to power, Kevin McCarthy has cut deal after deal with her – giving Greene important committee assignments and a more powerful say over the GOP’s legislative agenda than ever before.
