Dear John,

The start of 2023 has been deadly for Palestinians. Yesterday, an Israeli military attack in Jenin killed at least 10 Palestinians and injured more than 20 others. Since the start of the year, at least 30 Palestinians, including five children, were killed by the Israeli military.

The U.S. must take immediate action to end the violence—and realize a just and lasting peace for all Palestinians and Israelis. Pressure must be placed on Israel to stop violating human rights.

Tell Congress: End all U.S. military assistance to Israel and stop funding Israeli violence against Palestinians! [link removed]

The new Israeli government plans to carry out more oppressive measures that threaten to exacerbate violence. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ministers came to power on a platform of explicit supremacy, stating that only Israeli Jews have a right to sovereignty in the land located between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. They have promised to expand existing settlements and establish new ones—while moving to formally annex the West Bank to Israel.

Thousands of Palestinians are being forcibly displaced as Israel demolishes their homes, schools, and infrastructure in the West Bank and Jerusalem. And attacks by settlers on Palestinians are a daily occurrence.

Urgent action is needed to end the violence and Israeli apartheid. One major step the U.S. government can take is to end all military assistance to Israel. Currently, the U.S. annually sends $3.8 billion to Israel—as the Israeli government continues to violate human rights and international law.

Take action today. Urge elected officials to immediately end all U.S. military support to Israel. [link removed]
