The beginning of this week was marked with the beginning of the Lunar New Year, but also tragic mass shootings including in Monterey Park at a Lunar New Year celebration. This violence is heartbreaking and we all hope that friends and families of people who lost someone can find peace within their family and friend groups as we start the new year.
Sunday also marked what would’ve been the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade We continue our hard work to bring back the security and protections of Roe and ensure your right to make your own healthcare choices is enshrined in law.
Congressman Kim returned to Washington for a busy week of votes, passing his legislation to support small businesses, and kicking-off the first Congressional Dads Caucus. As always, we hope you find these updates and resources helpful. Have a great weekend!

Congressman Kim Introduces and Helps Pass Legislation to Expand Small Businesses’ Access to Microloans
This week, Congressman Kim helped pass his bipartisan Microloan Transparency and Accountability Act to break down barriers for local business owners and ensure microloans go to business owners that need them the most. Listen to his full remarks in support of his legislation just before it passed!

Congressman Kim Launches the First-Ever Congressional Dads Caucus
Congressman Kim was proud to help launch the Congressional Dads Caucus this week to uplift working families’ voices in Congress. The new caucus will work together to expand affordable child care, reduce poverty, fight for the Child Tax Credit, and give working parents the support they need in Congress.
The Congressman is inspired in this work by his own experiences as a father to two young boys. We look forward to the work ahead!
