Bigots across the country are back at it again.

We're only 17 days into the New Year, but bigotry never rests, John. Here are just some of the headlines we're already seeing that show us we're up for one hell of a fight in 2020:

Fox News host questions Pete Buttigieg's sexuality: "Are we really sure he's gay?"

“Do we, are we really sure he’s gay?” he asked. “I mean, he looks like some guy from the accountancy department. He doesn’t — that’s a very non-gay look. I don’t know.” - MetroWeekly

These States Want to Stop Transgender High School Students Playing Sports

Bills introduced in Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia would restrict the participation of transgender students in state sport competitions. - The Daily Beast

In first bill of the year, Tennessee Senate passes legislation allowing adoption agencies to deny gay couples

Florida Republicans submit 4 last-minute anti-LGBTQ bills ahead of 2020 legislative deadline

Democrat blasts his gay primary opponent for holding a fundraiser with drag queens

And this is just the start. John, we're ready to take on these bigots and kick them out of office. But we won't sugarcoat it: it's going to be extremely difficult to beat these entrenched incumbents supported by anti-LGBTQ backers with deep pockets. We need to you chip in today - will you donate $17 or more today to help send these bigots packing?

We can't win without you. Thanks again -

We believe representation is power – so we elected U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema, Governors Jared Polis and Kate Brown, all seven LGBTQ members of U.S. Congress and countless candidates for state and local government, including Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod and Pennsylvania Assemblymember Brian Sims. And with an unprecedented number of LGBTQ people running for office in this year, we’ll need your support to make 2020 the next Rainbow Wave.
