Notice of Proposed Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality?Permit to Construct
The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality?s (WDEQ) Water and Wastewater (W&WW) Section regulates the design and construction of commercial oilfield waste disposal facilities (COWDFs) that are required to obtain a permit under W.S. ? 35-11-301(a)(iii), W.S. ? 35-11-306, and Water Quality Rules Chapter 3. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the W&WW Section is proposing to issue a permit to construct for Tierney Evaporation Pit, under application number 2023-011 to operate the evaporation pond and holding tank facilities. The permit applicant is Rangeview Resources Operating Company, LLC, 5251 DTC Parkway, Suite 950, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Tierney Evaporation Pit is located in the NE Quarter of SW Quarter of Section 24, Township 19 North, Range 94 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Sweetwater County.

Beginning January 27, 2023 and ending at 5:00 P.M, (MST) on February 27, 2023, WDEQ will consider all written comments on the draft permit and written requests from any interested person that requests a public hearing be held. Written requests for public hearings shall be directed to the Water Quality Administrator at the address below and shall indicate the name and full mailing address of the individual requesting a hearing, the interest that individual has in the project, and the grounds for holding a public hearing.
