To celebrate the Year of the Rabbit in 2023, Cosmopolitan Arts presents 'From East to East - The Story of Chinese Migration to the East Midlands'.
Starting at 2.30pm, a traditional Chinese procession will take place through the city. This will be followed by a spectacular performance including a lion dance, music and audio-visual displays at Old Market Square.
This vibrant and dazzling event is free and suitable for all the family. Come along to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with all the cultural communities who celebrate the lunar festival, also known as the spring festival communities, and learn about their beautiful and fascinating culture.
This event is accompanied by an exhibition and Chinese workshop at Victoria Centre from 11am - 4pm.

Beat The Streets aims to be a force for positive change by using music to bring together the people of Nottingham.
Raising funds to support homeless people in need, all proceeds from tickets, merch and bar takings from Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Stealth and Bodega are donated to the charity Framework.
The full line-up for the celebratory day of live music features over 50 artists who will take to stages across major venues in the city centre.
The multi-venue urban festival once again gives local Nottingham musicians a prominent place on the line-up, and features notable upcoming artists, including: *Ferocious Dog, Lawnmower Deth, Palm Reader, alt blk era, Girlband, The Chase* plus many more.

Based on the true story of the chart-topping Cornish singing sensations and their hit 2019 movie, *Fisherman’s Friends: The Musical* is a feel-good voyage about friendship, community and music.
When a group of Cornish fishermen came together to sing the traditional working songs they’d sung for generations, nobody, least of all the fishermen, expected the story to end on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

Lakeside Arts celebrates the Year of the Rabbit in 2023 with a range of events to enjoy across January and February.
Amidst the shortest and darkest days of the year, they will host a number of family craft workshops including fan painting, lantern making and 3D pop-up cards, plus the opportunity to learn about the beautiful Chinese Tea Ceremony.
Another highlight is the wonderful show 'Moon Rabbit & Other Stories from China'. This magical piece of storytelling theatre recounts some of the folk tales of China and East Asia.

Having recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary of their milestone album "Sinners Never Sleep", *You Me At Six* have solidified themselves as one of the biggest and most prolific British bands of the 21st Century.
With a brand new album "Truth Decay" out in early 2023, the band have released new single, "Deep Cuts". This is the first new music to be revealed and is a huge rock anthem with a sophisticated nod to the music they grew up on; Emo and Pop/Punk, but with a very modern twist.
