Dear John,

Since announcing I would run for office two years ago, I’ve even been accused of not knowing how to read.

Why? because one of my jobs in college was in sex work.

The amount of misogyny in politics — even in 2023 — is almost unparalleled. Certainly worse than anything I've ever experienced before.
