Tickets are on sale now for the Oswego Downtown Association's Chocolate Walk for Charity [ [link removed] ]. The event takes place on Saturday, February 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All participants receive canvas tote to stroll through more than 20 local businesses and pick up a special chocolate treat.?

Applications open for Citizens Police Academy

Want to learn about the inner workings of the Oswego Police Department from our dedicated officers to help keep our community safe? Apply now for the next Citizens Police Academy [ [link removed] ] (CPA) session which begins on February 22. This free 13-week program takes place on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Topics including traffic enforcement, accident reconstruction, court procedures, weather spotting and crime scene?investigation, as well as hands-on exercises.?
The application deadline is February 17 at noon. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside in, own property, or operate a business within the Village. Consolidated Elections

Oswego's Consolidated Republican Primary Election [ [link removed] ]?will take place on February 28. Early voting is now open at the Kendall County Clerk's office. The Village president's term is expiring, as well as three trustee positions. Visit the Kendall County Clerk's website [ [link removed] ] to view the primary ballot [ [link removed] ], early voting schedule [ [link removed] ], vote by mail [ [link removed] ]?and the six polling locations [ [link removed] ] for the primary.
The successful candidates from the primary will run against Democratic candidates in the Consolidated General Election [ [link removed] ] on April 4.
