As one of seven kids from a working-class family, I am proud to fight for families just like mine in Congress every day.

2022 was a landmark year for progress on our most pressing issues. Together with my Democratic colleagues, we took action on climate change, fought to bring down costs for families, and worked to protect reproductive freedoms when they were on the chopping block.

And thanks to supporters like you, I am back in Congress this year to continue the work I was elected to do.

But with Republicans back in control of the House and eyeing the Senate in 2024, we cannot afford to slow our momentum. The path to retaking the House runs through California’s 38th district. That is why we must start laying the groundwork now.
