Today is the 108th birthday of our beloved Rocky Mountain National Park.

For more than a century, the beauty of Rocky Mountain has brought immeasurable joy to Colorado’s residents and visitors alike, but now Kevin McCarthy’s new far-right majority is putting our public lands in danger.

As part of his concessions to become Speaker, McCarthy gave into the pressure of MAGA members like Lauren Boebert to put our public lands at risk. McCarthy’s House majority created a loophole making it easier for public lands to be sold off.

Now, extractive industries like fossil fuel companies can gain cheap access to federal public lands — taking away the public lands we love so much, as well as the revenue to manage the parks, support workers, and create recreational areas.

Friend, Kevin McCarthy and the GOP will do anything to please their corporate cronies, even help give away our public lands.

To fight back, we have to strengthen our Senate majority, support Colorado’s House Democrats, and flip vulnerable GOP seats (like Lauren Boebert’s) in 2024!
